Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
All our products are hand made and one of a kind, each differ in appearance. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If the item does not match the description to your satisfaction we will happily exchange the item if you call into the shed.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as facemasks). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Refund Policy
We stand by the quality of our upcycled products and offer returns and exchanges if you're not fully satisfied; however, please note:
- Refunds are not offered for change of mind.
- Gift vouchers cannot be returned.
- We cannot accept returns on sale items.
- Returns must be requested before sending items back.
Easy Returns & Exchanges
If you’re not happy with your purchase; whether there is a fault, or simply not what you expected, please email us at info@upcyclenewcastle.org.au within 14 days of receiving your upcycled order. We will then arrange an exchange, store credit, or refund. If your item needs repairing, we can do that too.
How to Return or Exchange
- Contact us within 30 days of your purchase with your concern.
- Once we receive your item, we’ll then issue an exchange, store credit, or refund.
Store Credit & Refunds
- Store Credit: We can issue store credit for the item’s price, valid for 12 months.
- Refund: If a refund is requested, it will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
